She currently dives with her husband, Garth, who is an instructor, and many friends who share her passion. She also volunteers at the Oregon Zoo, keeping the environments clean and healthy for the otters, seal lions, fish, penguins and invertebrates.

I am also an avid backpacker! My two women friends, Kristi and Evelyn and I have backpacked in the Pamelia Lake area, Indian Heaven Wilderness, , Mckenzie River Trail, Goat Rocks Wilderness, Bull of the Woods, the Rogue River Trail, Marion Lake and Eagle Cap Wilderness. We are exploring the Olympic Wilderness in Washington as well. The Enchantments in Washington are next! We look forward to many more backpacking adventures together. (No scuba diving here!)
